I contacted Jigsaw Productions in September 2013 after I noticed they purchased the transcripts from Lake County regarding James Aren Duckett. I spoke with a researcher there and provided him with the information I had regarding the James Duckett case and I also sent him a copy of Jeanne Bragg's book "The Truth Shall Set Him Free".
Jigsaw Productions in conjunction with Robert Redford's Sundance Productions will be presenting a new television series on CNN called "Death Row Stories". James Duckett's story will appear Sunday March 30, 2014 at 9 PM est.
And here is a link to their interview with James Duckett

I strongly believe that Mr. Duckett is innocent and due to the lack of evidence and only circumstantial evidence was the only thing that put Mr. Duckett in prison. Our Judicial system sucks and any law enforcement and government officials would go through great length to commit an innocent person into a murderer. What I have a problem with this particular case was the lack of research and evidence presented by the lawyers and the law enforcement and turned Mr. Duckett into a circumstantial evidence and convicting Mr. Duckett of his crimes. I also think was because at the time in 1987 Mr. Duckett was a "Rookie Cop" and since they could not find anyone to link to the crime they put Mr. Duckett in the killer's place. Ever since Mr. Duckett was charged for this crime, the prosecutors and the law enforcers did everything they could to make it look that Mr. Duckett was the person who committed the crime. I hope one day the truth will prevail and if Mr. Duckett one day gets a new trial and is able to be released from prison look at the years he lost simply because over 27 years ago they could not find the true killer and placed an innocent person in prison. Our system really sucks.
